PROPAGANZA Belgium presented the 2nd edition of the two days WRITERS exhibition in Belgium last November 2023, here is what they have to say about it and the recap video!
“Propaganza and its Urban Art Center invite you to delve into the fascinating world of graffiti! The “Writers” exhibition is an ode to the most mysterious players in this discipline. And yet you’re probably quite familiar with their work – it’s part of your everyday life. You can see them simply by walking down the street! They’re the ones who started graffiti and street art: The Writers. With this exhibition, we want to highlight the unsuspected aspects of this artistic discipline, as well as the dynamism and creativity of these behind-the-scenes artists. In the course of the exhibition, you’ll be able to discover different types of artwork: canvas, silkscreen, customized street furniture, and prints… But also different styles of graffiti: block letter, wildstyle, flop… We want visitors who come through our doors to leave with a few reading clues so that they can recognize certain styles and understand the jargon specific to this milieu.”
