WRITERS is an exhibition dedicated exclusively to lettering.
The highly anticipated Writers exhibition returns for its third edition. This year, we have more than 20 participating artists, not only from Belgium but also from France, Germany, and elsewhere. The Urban Art Center invites you to plunge into the fascinating world of letterers. This exhibition focuses on letter artists, who are essential to the very existence of graffiti. However, they are the least known and most mysterious players on the street art, graffiti, and even artistic scenes in general.
This exhibition offers visitors, both novices and experts alike, the chance to explore the world of graffiti and discover the creators of this unique urban art form, through various types of artwork: canvases, silkscreens, customized urban furniture, prints, and more. The exhibition will also showcase different graffiti styles, including Blockletters, wildstyle, and throw-ups.
