Since 2018, a very special event has been taking place each year in Chemnitz, Germany—one that has quietly grown into a small but cherished tradition within the German graffiti community. What began as an idea to bring artists together during the colder months has evolved into something akin to an alternative Christmas party: creative, communal, and deeply rooted in shared passion.
The core idea behind the gathering by the host and graffiti artist AZME is simple yet powerful. Even in winter, creativity should not hibernate. Over the course of a single weekend, the participating artists come together to realize a thematically coordinated production with a winter or Christmas focus. While the artistic outcome is important, the true heart of the event lies in the sense of togetherness it fosters.
During the day, conversations unfold around the fire barrel as ideas take shape on the wall. In the evenings, the atmosphere shifts into a more relaxed and intimate setting, with shared drinks, lively discussions, and plenty of laughter. The event thrives on this balance between focused creative work and genuine human connection.
Artistically, the event is anchored by a carefully prepared wall surface. In previous years, the available area covered 245 square meters. Due to growing interest and consistently positive feedback, the space expanded this year by an additional 450 square meters. To ensure a harmonious overall result, a coordinated color palette is prepared in advance, providing a shared visual foundation while still leaving room for individual styles.
The 2025 edition of the event took place from December 5 to December 7 in Chemnitz, Germany. A total of 25 artists from across Germany participated and each of them brought a high level of distinct personal style, contributing to a diverse yet cohesive final production supported by MOLOTOW with a wide range of MOLOTOW Premium Spraypaint
