Here is MUNDLAUT´s entry to the Thomann #DiyKitChallenge at the same time it was his first guitar assembly:
“My daughter (@Tanjiro) did the beautiful artwork, based on a famous Manga/Anime called Demon Slayer (kimetsu no yaiba). I finished the guitar with the Benton Spray Max 2K-laquer and was pretty scared to ruin the great artwork due to my zero experience in spraying. But apart from a few minor flaws in the finish we are pretty satisfied with our built. The next one will be a bass guitar 😀 Some adjustments to the kit was made. We changed the Tuners and the Bridge as well as the knops and Pins. One pin-screw broke, so we will have to fix this by time. The guitar plays nicely. The intonation is pretty decent an i like the warm sound of the guitar and the original humbuckers. Unfortunately the audio and footage are a little bit out of sync, so maybe i will make a separate video playing the guitar by time.”
