Meet&Graff – From Brno to Prague

Brno and Prague have always been closely connected through graffiti, dating all the way back to the early 1990s.Writers established connections, and mutual visits bore fruit on both sides. Historically, several organized meetings took place as part of graffiti jams, and this year, the tradition was successfully revived. Specifically, it involves cooperation between the associations Panto Graff z.s. and Dream Colors z.s.

At the beginning of the summer of 2025, on July 12, a group of ten representatives from the mother city, Prague, arrived in Brno to paint together with ten local artists on the wall near the bike path in Komárov.

In mid-August, on August 16, a Brno crew set off in the opposite direction — to the capital — where a wall awaited them at the Hůrka metro station. The wall again had room for about 20 artists, so ten came from Brno, and the rest were local painters. (A link to the report can be found at the end of the article.)

For the Brno session, the Pantograff Art Store took care of the artists, while in Prague, Molotow Praha provided support. At both events, the painters could choose from the widest range of shades on the market (275), using Molotow Premium spray paints, which guarantee long-lasting color stability. The walls were selected specifically to ensure that the pieces would endure for years — the colors won’t fade, and the artworks will stay fresh even after a long time.

Then on Saturday, August 16, 2025, a group of ten writers from Brno headed to Prague to paint alongside more than ten local artists on a selected wall at Hůrka station, on the yellow metro line B. This meant that after nine years, a graffiti jam was once again held at Hůrka — made possible thanks to the cooperation with Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy a.s.(Prague Public Transit Company) and Dream Colors z.s..

The painting went beautifully, with great participation from passers-by and curious onlookers, even though a light drizzle kept us company for several hours. The event also featured a workshop and refreshments provided by Stop Zevling and Uny.

The entire event was supported by MOLOTOW, a brand that has been offering top-quality products for many years — especially the Molotow Premium spray paint. Its color range of 252 base shades + 15 transparent + 8 neon colors is the largest in the world. Naturally, it’s also UV-resistant thanks to its excellent nitro-alkyd formula. That’s why walls were chosen where the pieces will last for years — the colors won’t fade easily, and the artwork will stay fresh even after a long time.
