Lokiss is one of the pioneers in the European graffiti culture, as well as one of the main contemporary street artists. In his book “Graffiti – Expressions manifestes” Lokiss gathers 16 international artists that best express the esthetic renewal of this urban artistic movement and provocatively shows “what street art does not say”. The book features many famous contemporary artists, who have literally reinvented the street art by developing a new expressive language.
Lokiss explores and shows the work of artists like, among others, Delta, Toast, Daim, Peeta and also the MOLOTOW™ Artist Antistatik by documenting step by step the production of an artwork, from the preliminary drawings to the final result. All at the open air, at a location chosen by the single artist. By letting the images talk, Lokiss best explains the artists’ revolutionary approaches and shows us “what the street art does not say”.
