LOKISS paints the MOLOTOW TRAIN – To celebrate his ‘ORGAZMA’ book release

We are thrilled to welcome Paris-based graffiti artist LOKISS to paint the MOLOTOW TRAIN!

LOKISS is a first-generation graffiti writer from Paris, who began in 1984 with traditional New York-influenced letter styles. Within three years, he developed and mastered a unique wildstyle and was already experimenting with various tools like paint and brush to create abstract works on walls, building upon his style writing origins. By the late 1980s, he was well-known across Europe for his futuristic murals at the Stalingrad – La Chapelle Hall of Fame. His trademark became hard shapes and lines, strong contrasts, and intense color combinations.

He recently released his book, ORGAZMA, which compiles an extensive archive of his four-decade-long career as an artist and activist. Although graffiti served as his initial springboard to becoming a successful multidisciplinary artist, style writing has always guided him in various fields such as digital works, sculptures, and oil paintings. Beyond seemingly explosive shapes and letter elements, the face is a recurring motif in his work, as is the style writing arrow, “our 27th letter of the alphabet.”

With this recent book release, we felt the timing couldn’t be better to invite him to our headquarters and offer him the blue train wagon! So here it is – check out the work-in-progress video and photos, including the final shots of the WARRIORS train by LOKISS! Spraypainted with your favorite MOLOTOW tools – Premium!
