With the computer age, text processing and font diversity, handwriting fell far behind. It wasn’t necessary anymore; PCs and smartphones will take care of it. However, beautiful handwriting has been experiencing a renaissance in recent years, and many creatives are trying their hand at handlettering. Hannah Rabenstein, who had completed her design studies at the TH Nuremberg, brought it to the mastery of calligraphy. “I loved drawing and painting as a little girl, and I decided early on that I wanted to do something creative. I discovered my passion for writing and typography, which I was able to consistently expand and deepen during my design studies at the TH Nuremberg,” the artist tells us.
Since 2014, Hannah has been working as a self-employed designer and has since designed countless objects. At some point she found out about our wide range of innovative writing tools such as the MOLOTOW ONE4ALL Acrylic Marker Range, the MOLOTOW Blackliner, AQUA COLOR BRUSH, SKETCHER or the MOLOTOW Liquid Chrome Markers, and felt in love with the MOLOTOW quality.
A few weeks ago we invited Hannah to our headquarters to test new products, film some new MOLOTOW Product Session videos and to discuss her passion in an interview. Here it is, mixed with some great footage of her drawing the line!
