Graphic shapes with thick lines: This is how the style of Dominik Rüegg aka DRÜ EGG from Switzerland can best be described. Although his artwork appears very clear at the end, the breaking down of shapes into simple lines is a real art. A few weeks ago we spent a day looking over Dominik’s shoulder and watching his artwork being created on a surfboard using his favorite MOLOTOW Markers all the way: ONE4ALL!
“I like clear, graphic shapes, thick lines and different patterns. I usually approach my work very freely and work without a sketch. That’s why I prefer to work directly on the surface with a thick marker. I don’t like to show the whole thing, but leave it alone The viewer has a lot of freedom by showing excerpts.” (DOMINIK RÜEGG)
