COLOR OF THE WEEK: SEEN NIGHT BLUE

Todays COLOR OF THE WEEK is the MOLOTOW ONE4ALL Acrylic Paint #248 SEEN Night Blue, a color based on the moonlit night sky around a full moon and named after the Graffiti legend Richard SEEN Mirando from New York City. Known for his signature style with clear, readable lettering he pioneered graffiti in the New York City subway system in the 1970s. SEEN founded the influential graffiti crew “United Artists” (UA) with a global reach and has been to Germany in the mid Nineties regulary. More Information

One day German graffiti artist LOOMIT brought SEEN to the Black Forest (where the MOLOTOW HQ is located) so he became friend with Juergen and the MOLOTOW team. When working on a huge color update of the first belton MOLOTOW Premium generation with the artist, the color NIGHT BLUE was named after SEEN and still is today, after almost 30 years.
