This collaboration is between two master letter writers. London based graffiti legend BEN EINE needs no introduction, he’s been painting the streets of London with his alphabets for years.
For Rachel Joy meanwhile it was her first time with a spray can. Quite an apprenticeship therefore to be teamed up with one of London’s most recognisable artists.

I really enjoyed the more spontaneous style of working with the space, sketching out straight onto the wall – helpful bricks to give horizontals and a way of measuring weight of the letters. Lots more to learn and, like so many things, hours of practice to be able to get to master techniques better. Very cool watching Ben paint so smoothly. The mural called ‘Stronger Together’ took the word stronger from Eine’s typeface and ‘together’ from Joy’s.
