Kalouf’s Final Wall in Madrid — Ring-Tailed Lemur

We are excited to share the last wall of KALOUF´s mural series: a 9m x 11m mural painted with MOLOTOW Premium, featuring the iconic ring-tailed lemur.

The ring-tailed lemur is a primate endemic to Madagascar, easily recognized by its striking black-and-white banded tail. Sadly, like many species on the island, it is critically endangered due to habitat loss and hunting.

Despite its vulnerable status, I chose to bring this animal to a school wall because of its universal appeal. Children in particular love the ring-tailed lemur—thanks in part to the animated movie Madagascar. This popularity offers a unique opportunity: it lets us talk about the important topic of species conservation in a way that is positive, accessible, and fun.
