Kitsa’s artistic practice oscillates between illustration, mural, and canvas painting, crafting a dreamlike universe that draws elements from comics, cartoons, and the worlds of children. His affinity for graffiti has led to international travel and shaped his style. For over a decade, his distinctive, dynamic, and vibrant characters have evolved on walls and canvases, occasionally foregrounding abstraction and compositional experimentation.
KITSA recently worked with the MOLOTOW ONE4ALL Acrylic paint on paper and canvas, in conjunction with acrylic and MOLOTOW spray paints. In particular, the expanded range of ONE4ALL paint enabled experimental work with brushes and markers. For this study, a 40 x 60 cm canvas was selected by the artist. Here is his feedback working with our products:
“The fine felt tip of the ONE4ALL Twin Marker proved particularly suitable for detailed elaboration and contouring. To enhance visual dynamism, graphic elements, such as neon-colored lines, were integrated into the illustration.
To comprehensively evaluate the properties of the inks, an entire canvas was designed using these colors. The orange, pink, and green hues were lightened in the process. The application of the inks was carried out using both the marker and the brush, with the opacity and pigmentation of the colors proving to be positive.
The ability to individually mix inks offers both practical and economic advantages, as only the required amount of color is used. Moreover, this opens up the option to combine the inks with other media or additives.
There is a strong interest in testing new color combinations and transferring the style from the wall to the canvas, as the color spectra of the products are consistent.
In conclusion, I would like to express my gratitude for the opportunity to test these products.”
