600 square meter mural at the Gliesmarode stop in Braunschweig

Check out this 600 square meter mural at the Gliesmarode stop in Braunschweig commissioned by Deutsche Bahn for the Wolfsburg-based artist Sebastian Roese.

Starting in July 2024, the planning and conceptualization phase for the entire wall surfaces of the ramp access at Gliesmarode station began Roese worked on the wall surfaces and completed the large-format facade painting within 2 months using MOLOTOW PREMIUM spraypaint all the way.

The artist describes the concept idea as follows:

“On a train journey, we relaxingly look out of the window. Fields, buildings, train stations, and the sky pass by us in fragments. In its high speed, the train appears to the outside observer as a passing line. These thoughts form the basis for the visual design of the wall surfaces. I pay attention to my color concepts to evoke positive emotions when viewed, which, in my opinion, is essential when designing living spaces.”
